Welcome to Advocates for Children. We are a non-profit organization serving the children and families of Bartow County and other North Georgia counties.

At Advocates, we offer safety, comfort and hope to children and youth by providing resources and support to strengthen our community of families. Our dedicated staff works every day to assure that Georgia is a great place to be a child.

Our special programs and services include the Flowering Branch Children’s Center, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), First Steps, Teen Pregnancy Prevention, Project Safe Place and more. Our programs make the difference and our outstanding Volunteers and Corporate Partners , as well as our dedicated Board of Trustees, make these programs possible.

Duck Derby season 2009 was so much fun! Over 15,000 of the little yellow quackers were adopted! Our very first VID race was a huge success, and we look forward to a bigger and better version next year. We appreciate all of those who donated prizes, time, and talents, and all those who show they care so much about the children we serve. Thank you!
