n We have 12 Bedrooms, 6 for boys and 6 for girls plus a 7th for either

n In 2006, we served 109 children for a total of 3,202 "bed-nights." This is an average of 8.3 per night over the course of the year.

 

 

 

"Because You Deserve A Good Home"

The "shining star" in Advocates' family of services, this is our short term residential and counseling home for troubled youth. While in residence, youth receive individual, group and family counseling. Runaway, abused, abandoned or otherwise in-crisis children live in a safe and loving place.

Flowering Branch has twelve bedrooms to provide a home to six boys and six girls at any one time. We also have  a crib for emergency needs for a very small child.

In addition to basic care, transportation to and from school, love, attention and friendship, residents are enriched by:

n Music therapy

n Art

n Recreation

n Homework/tutoring assistance

n Nutritious meals

n Recreation (Including: horseback riding, movies, fishing, paging at Georgia state legislature, sports, gardening, educational field trips)

n Holiday activities

We also accept in-kind donations. In-kind donations are donations of new or gently used appropriate clothing, school supplies, laundry detergent and other items.
