Are you mature, responsible, open-minded and patient? If you are all those things, you might be interested in becoming a VolunTeen. VolunTeens are youth 15 years of age or in 9th grade, but not older than 21years of age. You must be in the process of obtaining a high school diploma or equivalent. You will complete 30 hours of volunteer service at Flowering Branch as training.
VolunTeens are essential to our program. They provide leadership, friendship and guidance to our residents by being positive role models. VolunTeens are directly involved with our residents by helping with homework, participating in activities and sharing meals. If you think you might like to become a VolunTeen, fill out an application and tell us why you are interested, or call Marian Barber for more information at (770) 387-1143.
